Why counterfeited goods must be removed? Counterfeits erode consumers' trust in manufacturers and decrease in brand value which manufacturers created. Counterfeits deceive consumers and betray their confidence. Counterfeited goods are defective goods manufactured without a due sense of responsibility! Laws clearly prohibit counterfeiting which is equivalent to the act of free-riding on the names and reputations of others, receiving undue profits, and providing no guarantee on defective goods. Why counterfeited goods must be removed:   It is a serious crime to make or sell counterfeit goods.   Penalties could involve confiscation of goods or fines etc.   Counterfeits diminish brand value and erode the trust we've worked so hard to create.   Both "YOUR" and YKK's brand values are damaged when counterfeit zippers are inserted and fail.   If you risk installing counterfeit zippers, you also risk becoming involved in negative situations   Apparel manufacturers who use counterfeit zippers bear the responsibility of guaranteeing the counterfeit zipper directly.   Manufacturers of goods containing counterfeit zippers risk being involved in a trademark infringement suit, a customs import seizure, or other unwanted situations.   The YKK mark is recorded with Customs; YKK has requested Customs to enforce our intellectual property rights through the seizure of merchandise containing counterfeit YKK zippers.
