"YKK's water repellent zipper type for the "AquaGuard" series, is a polyurethane laminated tape on a "VISLON" zipper.
The new element design provides enhanced water resistance while increasing the number of design and color options for your application.

The color of tape, film and the element can all be different so the zipper can be a combination of 3 colors as the attached picture below.

Care Information / Remarks
This zipper is water repellent, not waterproof/watertight.
Recommend to test the color fastness before using, especially when the garment is attached with PVC or PU material.
[Application]
Do not use the curve application since slider may cut the tape.
Avoid applications where PU zippers will come into contact with "vinyl," such as PVC or PU.
[End Use Instruction]
Avoid prolonged exposure to heat and humidity and keep the zipper away from direct sunlight. UV may cause yellowing of the PU film.
Minimal degradation occurs but does not effect performance of the film.
Repeated bending of the zipper may cause cloudy film.
[Washing]
Tumble Dry, Normal, Low Heat.
[Dry-cleaning]
Petroleum based solvent is recommended. Do not use Chlorine based solvent.
[Ironing]
Avoid ironing. It may flatten the film and cause the film to melt.
