YKK Awarded “Grand Prix” in the THE SENKEN Distribution Advertisement Award for Campaign Visual

For the second year in a row, in June 2019 YKK received the “Grand Prix” in the "2019/36th THE SENKEN Distribution Advertisement Award" organized by THE SENKEN, a Japanese fashion business trade newspaper, for “Sustainability” from YKK’s Campaign Visual.

YKK’s president, Hiroaki Otani, received the prize and made a speech at the ceremony, which was held on June 13 at Royal Park Hotel in Tokyo, Japan.

In this visual, we convey the message that YKK cares deeply about our environmental footprint. That’s why our product line includes “small parts” with a big impact on sustainability, such as zippers made from recycled materials. We will continue to make full use of the potential of advertising to convey our fastening business’ brand message.

THE SENKEN Distribution Advertisement Award
The award was established in 1983 to expand the development of trade advertising and to improve its quality.
